What happened with the '98 V-Reds in 2008 ?

July 14, 2008 - '98 V-Reds bring home the Gold again ! - As the 2008 season comes to a close, the '98 V-Reds continued to bring home top honors from yet another tournament. This past weekend they competed in the Lobsterfest Tournament in Portland, Maine. Competing against teams from Chicago, Delaware, Maine and Quebec the '98 V-Reds captured the Gold in the AA division with a decisive 5-2 win over the Delaware Selects in the final. The team finishes the season having captured the GOLD medal in 4 of 6 tournaments ! Great job boys !

June 9, 2008 - Winning Gold is becoming a Habit ! - This past weekend the '98 V-Reds competed in Boston, Mass. and proved to be no match for the competition by capturing the Gold medal and outscoring the opposition 25 - 0 ! Teams from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Long Island and the Boston area competed in this event. At the beginning of the season the challenge was put in front of the team to "Take it to the Next Level" and the boys have been very focused on doing just that. The team is now taking a couple of weeks off before they begin preparations for the Lobsterfest Tournament being held in Portland, Maine.
June 1, 2008 - '98 V-Reds Win Gold AGAIN ! - The inaugural Target Hockey Challenge Cup proved to be just that...challenging ! But the '98 V-Reds continued to show that hard work does in fact pay off by capturing their second Gold medal of the season. Keep up the great effort boys !

Apr 28, 2008 - '98 V-Reds Win Gold ! - This past weekend the '98 V-Reds Prospects captured the gold medal in the 2008 V-Reds Challenge Cup held in Fredericton, NB. Teams from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia participated in this great event. Congratulations Team !!!
