What happened with the '00 V-Reds in 2008 ?

July 14, 2008 - A very successful inaugural season came to a close this past weekend with the '00 V-Reds participating in the annual AAA Lobsterfest Tournament held in Portland, Maine. The '00 V-Reds showed that hard work does in fact payoff by finishing the tournament with a very respectable 2-2 record and making it to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals the V-Reds ran into a talented Chicago Cougars team losing 8-1. The entire coaching staff is very proud of you ! Great job boys ! See you next season !

May 20, 2008 - This past weekend the '00 V-Red Prospects ran into a couple of strong teams at the Bluenose Cup held in Halifax. They competed hard but ended up on the short end of some very close games. Great job boys !

May 5, 2008 - Congratulations to the '00 V-Reds for capturing the Bronze medal at the recent Oyster Cup tournament held in Charlottetown, PEI. The '00 V-Reds continue to show that they're very competitive and will only get stronger. Great job, boys !

Apr 28, 2008 - This past weekend, the '00 V-Red Prospects competed in 2008 V-Reds Challenge Cup held in Fredericton, NB. While the number of teams participating in this particuliar division was limited due to a last minute withdrawl, the '00 V-Reds worked extremely hard and proved that they are a very competitive team and one to be reckoned with going forward.

Apr 16, 2008 - WOW ! What a weekend for the '00 V-Reds in Shediac. While the number of teams were limited, the competition was not ! The '00 V-Reds played four very strong games against the NS Selects and the Jr. Wildcats. The '00 V-Reds are now hard at work preparing for their next tournament.

Mar 24, 2008 - The 2008 tournament schedule has been set for the '00 V-Reds.

April 11-13...Lobster Cup (Shediac) 0 Wins; 4 Losses

April 25-27...V-Reds Challenge Cup (Fredericton) 4 Wins; 0 Losses

May 2-4.......Oyster Cup (Charlottetown) BRONZE 2 Wins; 1 Loss; 1 Tie

May 17-19....Bluenose Cup (Halifax) 0 Wins; 4 Losses

July 11-13....Lobsterfest (Portland)... Semi-Finalist

Feb 25, 2008 - The coaching staff is very excited to welcome Logan Penney, Jake McAdam and Gregory Stoyles to the '00 V-Reds Prospects. The team is busy preparing to compete at an Elite level against some of the best players in the Maritimes, Quebec and New England. Welcome to the VReds program !
